Todd J. Bloomfield graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1988 cum laude, with a degree in Business/Economics. He then attended the University of Southern California Law Center where he obtained his juris doctorate degree in 1991. Upon completion of law school he was hired as a Federal Court Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Howard D. McKibben. He has been representing people injured due to the negligence of others 1993.
Mr. Bloomfield is a member of the American Association for Justice, formerly the Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles. He is a frequent lecturer for educational seminars and has been published many times authoring articles geared towards assisting other lawyers with their practice. Mr. Bloomfield has both lectured and been published on all aspects of handing personal injury cases from caring for a client’s needs immediately following a collision or injury, all the way through litigation, trial, and beyond.
Mr. Bloomfield formerly served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Mr. Bloomfield is a 2007 nominee for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. He was awarded the Consumer Attorney Association for Los Angeles’s Presidential Award in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Mr. Bloomfield is also a member of the Medical Malpractice Roundtable, an elite, invitation only organization consisting of the best and most well known medical malpractice attorneys in California.
Mr. Bloomfield has an extensive background in computer science and is well known for his application of cutting edge technology to the practice of law to bring his cases to life for juries and for insurance companies. The ability to generate computer graphics, simulations, animations, mock-ups and demonstrations empowers Mr. Bloomfield to persuasively detail the facts of the case and the extent of his clients injuries in a meaningful and impactful manner.
When representing personal injury clients, Mr. Bloomfield employs a hands on approach, spending the time with each client and their families to understand how their lives have changed as a result of the condition caused by car accidents, motorcycle and bike accidents, medical malpractice, or other types of personal injury.
