Linda Fermoyle Rice graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1979. Since 1987, she has been helping people who have been seriously injured - whether by the negligence of a driver, property owner or health care provider. She has helped people who were discriminated against in their jobs because of age, race or sex. She has worked with and helped the parents of children with birth injuries that left them severely handicapped with cerebral palsy. She is most proud of the fact that the people whom she has helped over the years are her greatest source of new clients.
Ms. Rice believes that the strength of our civil justice system is its ability to give the average person the same rights that big corporations, insurance companies, medical associations and drug manufacturers enjoy. She will fight hard to protect the right of any person to obtain fair and just compensation for serious injuries resulting from the carelessness of others. It is her passion for justice, as well as her long experience, that makes her an outstanding advocate on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Rice received the highest rating from the prestigious legal publisher, Martindale-Hubbell, for professional excellence and integrity. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and serves on the Board of Directors for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. She is also active in the Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice.
In addition to her professional activities, Ms. Rice is active in her community and was the Charter President of the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center, Woodland Hills, a service organization involved in hands-on activities with Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics and various other charitable organizations. She also served on the Bioethics Committee at Tarzana Hospital for twelve years and was President of the West Hills Neighborhood Association from 1994 to 1996.
She has been married for 30 years to Kurt W. Rice, D.C., and is the mother of two grown daughters.
Ms. Rice takes great pride in the motto for her firm, "Committed to excellence in the practice of law and compassion for the people we serve."
